PLEASE WELCOME YOUR NEW SUB REGIONAL 4 DIRECTOR, MICHELLE GALLIMORE!!!

Michelle Gallimore, a 2L at Florida Coastal and is a native from New York. In the Spring of 1999, Ms. Gallimore graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she majored in Legal Studies. Following graduation, Ms. Gallimore secured employment with the New York City Department of Homeless Service where she served as a Community Assistant. Within this capacity, Ms. Gallimore worked directly with victims of domestic violence and homeless families to determine their eligibility for emergency housing assistance.Beginning, this May, Ms. Gallimore will begin serving as the SRBLSA Sub-Region Four Director. Within this capacity, Ms. Gallimore is primarily responsible for facilitating communications between the NBLSA executive board and the presidents of the SRBLSA chapters throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. Ms. Gallimore is further responsible for coordinating the 2009 SRBLSA Academic Retreat which will focus on the need for sustained activism in light of political and social changes to come.
